Hope - Living in the presence of God

From the book of Zechariah, we're learning about God's pyramid of success through the visions He gave Zechariah. In this message, we examine the second pillar of success: hope. Through the measuring line vision, we see God revealing His plan to Zechariah and Israel. He assures them that there is work in progress. He knows what He is doing and He will finish His work in His time.

Some application points from this chapter:

1. Let's grow our awareness of God's presence and thoughts toward us.

2. Increase our trust in God's presence; He never leaves us or forsakes us, we can trust Him.

3. Remember to rejoice in God's presence; His plans are good. Embrace the journey of faith.

4. Take comfort in God's presence by resting in His care and protection.

5. Grow in God's presence by getting to know him more fully and intimately each day.

6. Be an extension of God's presence by bringing God's heart to those around us.

7. Value God's presence knowing it is a privilege to be in His presence.
